Tranquil  Price Band:   £101-200 per room / villa per night

There are nine rooms in total – 6 Twin Rooms, 1 Double Room plus a sofa bed, 1 Suite plus a sofa bed and 1 Tree House Suite. Named after the spices grown on the plantation, all are large, have extremely comfortable beds with thick cotton sheets and pretty patterned bedspreads. Mosquito nets are not needed at these heights (3000ft), but windows have screens to allow the wonderfully fresh air in without the inevitable flying visitors. The en-suite bathrooms are suitably large and well fitted. The decor is cosy yet stylish with plenty of uptodate magazines from all around the world. Surprizingly there is a TV in each room, but it is doubtful you will have reason to switch it on in this serene environment.

The  luxury Tree Villa, perched amongst 3 tree tops at 35 feet from ground level, has spectacular views across the valley. The tree reamains part of the architecture winding through the rooms.  The approach is easy - along an inclined gangway with side rails, so no need for Tarzan rope tricks. The suite includes bedroom, verandah and very modern bathroom complete with hydro spa shower. Hot water is plentiful and there are all the usual facilities including a fridge and room safe.  The decor is teak floors and cane furniture and every surface is shiney and clean with traditional Jaipur print bedspreads.  Honeymooners may choose to have breakfast on their balcony which will always be accommodated. In case of any problems, there is an intercom with the main house and back-up generator power for emergencies.
